Knowledge on key factors controlling the effectiveness and the long-term capacity of microbial ecosystems to degrade chemicals is, hence, of utmost importance. To strengthen research on the ecology of contaminant degradation in the Department of Environmental Microbiology, the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research is seeking a Postdoctoral Scientist in Environmental Microbiology.
