AHRC Bioresources Supervisor

The Animal Health Research Center (“AHRC”), a 75,000 square-foot facility, is comprised of BSL-2 labs, ABSL-2 spaces, BSL-3 labs, ABSL-3/BSL-3Ag vivarium. The AHRC BioResources Supervisor performs and supervises subordinate BioResources employees in the daily care and management of research animals, oversees cleanliness of vivarium and oversees animal health cases, oversees staff and faculty training inside vivarium research spaces, oversees writing and annually reviewing SOPs as they apply to the vivarium, oversees competencies of all staff and faculty for all relevant SOPs. This position will manage husbandry inventory. This includes accounting for what has been used, what is needed and forecast supply needs for budgetary accuracy.
