Dr. Dimitrios Schizas holds a Biology Degree in Biology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.) and a Ph.D. in Theoretical Ecology and History & Philosophy of Biology from A.U.Th. He worked for several years as an adjunct lecturer in A.U.TH and Technological Institutes of Thessaly, Western and Central Macedonia, where he taught ecology and biology education courses. He has taken a post-doc research scholarship focusing on History, Philosophy and Didactics of Biology topics and has participated in seven Greek and International research programs. As primary educator he has also addressed eight long-life learning biology education seminars organized by A.U.TΗ and three long-life distant-learning biology education seminars organized by I.H.U.
